Jockey Jason Hart, a real riding warrior

Yesterday, Monday 22nd June 2026, in the 2.15 at Musselburgh race course, Jason Hart rode the forecast Fav Only Dream Big. The horse drifted to go off as the 2nd Fav at 5/2.

The horse raced in second place and was being pushed along two furlongs out and the price in-running on Betfair drifted out with many backers losing faith. But, in the saddle Jason Hart did not give up and despite dropping his whip in the final furlong, this warrior jockey still manage to get the horse upon the line to win by a nose.

I understand Jason Hart is extremely fit, and that says something where jockeys are concerned. He apparently holds several fitness records amongst his fellow jockeys and sometimes returns to break his own record, or that’s what I heard. It can surely never be a bad thing to know your jockey is super fit, but more so than that, Jason Hart appears to have a never say die attitude and often looks very determined in the saddle.

As far as my Racing Systems are concerned, Only Dream Big was a WOLCO System selection and more importantly a £10k Secret System horse, so it was great to see yet another winner from this long time proven method.

As I write this post, I see Jason Hart has not long won on Tattie Bogle in the 2.45 at Beverely.
